Accessibility Statement

Everyone deserves an honest mechanic — and a website they can actually use. Here's our commitment to digital accessibility.

Last Updated: September 21, 2026

Our Commitment

Grace Automotive is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every customer deserves equal access to information about our services, hours, location, and ways to reach us — regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard widely referenced for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

ADA Compliance

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that businesses open to the public provide equal access to their goods and services, and we treat our website as an extension of our shop's front door. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project: we review the site on a regular basis, test with keyboard-only navigation, and address accessibility issues as part of routine site maintenance. Our physical shop at 3756 N Pulaski Rd also welcomes customers with disabilities — if you need any accommodation when visiting, call ahead at (773) 545-6770 and we will be glad to help.

Accessibility Features on This Site

Measures built into every page of this website include:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labels for screen readers
  • Descriptive alternative text on all images
  • Full keyboard navigability, including visible focus indicators
  • Sufficient color contrast in both dark and light display modes
  • Support for the "reduced motion" preference set in your device settings
  • Text that can be resized without loss of content or functionality

The Accessibility Toolbar

Every page of this site includes an accessibility toolbar — look for the round accessibility icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen. It lets you adjust the site to your needs, and your choices are remembered on your device for future visits:

  • Bigger Text — enlarges all text across the site
  • High Contrast — strengthens text and border contrast for easier reading
  • Underline Links — underlines every link so they're identifiable without color
  • Readable Font — switches to a simple, highly legible typeface
  • Pause Animations — stops all motion and animation effects
  • Large Cursor — enlarges the mouse pointer for better visibility

Known Limitations

Some content on our site is provided by third parties — such as the embedded map, online booking, and financing applications — and may not fully meet the same accessibility standards. If you have difficulty with any of these, contact us and we will help you complete the task by phone or in person.

Feedback & Assistance

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, have trouble accessing any part of the site, or need information in an alternative format, please let us know — we take every report seriously and will work to resolve issues promptly:
