Battery issues always show up at the worst time. You’re late, it’s cold, you turn the key… and you get a click. Or it cranks slow like it’s tired, then finally starts, and you spend the whole drive wondering if it’ll do it again.
Here’s the thing: a “dead battery” isn’t always a dead battery. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it’s a loose terminal, corrosion you can’t really see, an alternator that’s not charging like it should, or a starter that’s starting to fail. The only way to know is to test it properly instead of playing the parts-swap game. That’s what we do here.
If the battery is actually failing, we replace it, clean things up, and make sure the connections are tight and correct. We also check charging afterward, because there’s no point putting in a fresh battery if the alternator isn’t doing its job. That’s how people end up buying the same repair twice.
And if it’s not the battery, we’ll tell you that too. We’d rather solve the problem than sell a part.
